Are you a regular member or friend of Faith United Church of Christ? Excellent! We're exciting about our new website and hope you enjoy checking it out. Remember...it is a work in progress so check back to see what's been added and updated. There's even a place for a blog. Hmmmmm...that might be fun! I'll keep you posted on it's progress!
Is this your first online visit to Faith UCC? Welcome! Are you thinking about visiting in person? We would love to meet you! We know that visiting can be a big step but here at Faith UCC you'll find friendly people to welcome you. I know that's an easy thing to say, but we really do have a commitment to follow the motto of the UCC -- "No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you're welcome here!"
During the summer months we worship at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings. Following worship, we invite you to join us in Fellowship Hall for coffee, treats, and conversation. Throughout the week you are invited to join our Tuesday morning Bible study at 6:30 (yes, that's 6:30 AM!) On Wednesday, we have a group of long-time, faithful quilters who share their skill in preparing a quilt to be given away during our Fall Raffle. Want to quilt but not sure how -- our kind experts will teach you! Thursday's at 1:00 pm you'll find our Drop-A-Stitch group members each working on their latest knitting or crocheting project. Just as the quilters, if you don't know how to knit or crochet there are folks ready to teach you! The 4th Thursday of each month we host a Mobile Food Pantry from 5-6 pm. Volunteers are always welcomed as are those struggling with food insecurity.
Throughout the year we gather for special services, topic-based learning opportunities, special meals, fund-raising meals, auctions, intergenerational crafts -- our goal is to provide a variety of ways to participate in the life of the church and the wider community.
At Faith United Church of Christ, we celebrate the journey we are all on together as we live out our lives as beloved children of God. We're not perfect. None of us have it all together. None of us have all the answers. But together we learn and grow. Together we laugh and we cry. Together we celebrate who we are and whose we are. And together we carry that love and that hope and that compassion out into a very broken world and try to make it better.
We hope you will join us!
